Unfinished drafts and the move to the new database

When a user is moved to the new database, any form they started and did not finish is deleted. The app does not warn them.

Before an organisation moves

Tell the organisation, before its migration date, that field users must finish and save every draft, or discard it. Anything still a draft on the day of the move is lost.

A draft is not a record waiting to be sent. The number on the sync icon does not count drafts, and syncing does not save them.

If a user says their drafts are gone after the move

They cannot be brought back. Ask the user to fill the form again.

If the user says records they had saved are missing, that is a different problem. Escalate to the platform team with a screenshot of the bottom of the More screen.
